Ouémé River

The Ouémé Rver is a river in Subsaharan Africa. It originates in the Sudan Savannah Zone and flows into the Gulf of Guinea in Benin. It is strongly influenced by the tropical wet and dry precipitation seasonality with discharge peaks in September/October. Due to its length and its large basin, it is an essential ecosystem for the local population.

Technical University of Munich (TUM) is the lead partner on the Ouémé River use case. The Ouémé survey is implemented in collaboration with Bénin Drone Lab.
